Gymnasts impress a full audience as St Mary’s hosted the annual Girls' Schools' Association (GSA) Gymnastics and Dance Display with The Stephen Perse Foundation as guests.
This year’s performance saw the largest cohort of gymnasts ever, with 51 girls from the Senior School taking part and 13 girls from the Junior School.
Routines included a range of group sizes from solo pieces to large groups using a varied range of equipment from bar boxes to pommel horse to name a few. The vaulting team began the show with a dynamic routine to be followed by an atmospheric display from the Junior School Club.
The Finale was full of colour incorporating international flags, gymnastic ribbons and the symbolic Olympic rings, embracing and preparing for The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
