A St Mary's teacher is celebrating after being named a County Champion Golfer following a "magnificent" hole-in-one in the final match of the competiton.
Jackie Gregg won the title on Sunday, 16 May, after beating St Mary's parent Marcella T in the semi final.
Marcella said: "Jackie won the County Championship on the last putt of the 18th hole.
"I got through to the semi-finals of the championship, losing to Jackie yesterday morning after also playing 90 holes of golf over three days!"
And it wasn't just the adults celebrating, Year 10 student Claire T also did very well, reaching the semi-finals of the Plate competition.
