Form 2 Visits The Folk Museum

Form 2 visited the Cambridge Folk Museum in February, here are some write ups from the class.

We went on a bus and got off at Bridge Street. A lady called Tamsin taught us about wash day 100 years ago. We saw a Victorian mangle, some of us had our photo taken next to it and then we dried a hankie. We saw an ell catcher that is called a grig. I learnt a lot of interesting things about the past. - Lydia

My favourite part of the Museum was when we saw the old fashioned toys. The weirdest thing as the toaster, nothing was electrical. We all had a go at pushing the pump. Then we went back to school on the bus and had lunch. - Azalea
