Girls from across age groups braved frosty conditions to take part in the County Cross Country Championship.
Clare W, Year 10, ran brilliantly around the course, taking 1st place in the Intermediate race. In the Minors’ race Ella L was placed 16th and Katie B was placed 30th; in the Juniors’ race Megan H was placed 18th; and in the Seniors’ race Alice M took 8th place.
As a result of the event Claire W and Alice M have been selected to run at the Regional Cross Country Championships on 4 February.
