Cricketing Awards

Last Summer, Year 10 student Georgia R received the Fiona Harris Girl Cricketer of the Year Award, as well as the Clubman Magic Moment Prize at Saffron Walden Cricket Club. This led to Georgia being nominated for and winning the Jack Petchy Award for Achievement and Commitment this Summer. Georgia was presented with a boxed medal, certificate and £200 for her club.

Additionally, Georgia was selected to captain her West Essex team in the Essex District Tournament, coming 3^rd out of all girls' teams in Essex County. Georgia also became captain for Saffron Walden girls' under 15 team this year.

Well done to Georgia on these fabulous achievements!
