St Mary’s School chamber choir, Allegro, has been invited to join the acclaimed Fairhaven Singers and their conductor Ralph Woodward for a one-off concert in Queens’ College Chapel, Cambridge.
The Autumn Tones concert will take place on Saturday 12 November at 7.30pm. Allegro will be singing a challenging repertoire and are honoured to be involved in the world premiere of a piece by the Swiss composer Carl Rütti which has been written especially for the Fairhaven Singers.
Ralph Woodward, conductor for the Fairhaven Singers, commented: "We're delighted to be working with Allegro for a second time. Due to a mixture of innate talent, hard work and the fine training they receive from their conductor Emma Levy, they make a magical sound, and I can't wait to hear the choirs combine in the bright acoustic of Queens' College Chapel."
Tickets for the concert are available via the Fairhaven Singers' website: www.fairhavensingers.org.uk
