This year’s annual Pastonian Association Reunion welcomed a special guest as celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager attended to regale past pupils with stories from her single-sex schooling and professional life.
The afternoon event saw over 70 past pupils and staff members both past and current attend, with plenty of time to relax, take a tour of the school and reminisce about their time spent at St Mary’s.
Rosemary Shrager, who has enjoyed a varied career hosting her own television show and more recently appearing on School for Cooks and Ladette to Lady, entertained the group with tales of her success as well as giving some cookery tips!
Rosemary Shrager, commented: “I was delighted to attend St Mary’s School Reunion Lunch. I remember my school days fondly and it’s a great honour to be asked to attend such a special occasion. Female education is of great significance to me and I recognise the strong friendship bonds women form in their school years.”
Charlotte Avery, Headmistress of St Mary’s School, added: “We were thrilled to welcome Rosemary Shrager to St Mary’s. Our Alumnae reunions are an important part of our School’s social calendar where we enjoy welcoming back past pupils and hear about their time since leaving St Mary’s. Rosemary certainly added to the vibrant atmosphere at the afternoon and told some fascinating stories from her varied career.”
