Second Children's Laureate and prize-winning author, Anne Fine, will be attending St Mary’s later their term to open the new Junior School building on Chaucer Road.
The official opening of the beautiful refurbished Victorian building will be taking place on Wednesday 16 November.
Anne Fine will be running workshops throughout the day with all Junior girls before officially opening the new building in the afternoon.
The new Junior School includes dedicated subject classrooms including Art, Music and Science rooms. The site also has an exceptional garden in which the girls can play and which will be used for games.
