The Senior school’s 25-strong chamber choir Allegro were delighted to join with the acclaimed ‘Fairhaven Singers’ for a one-off concert in the beautiful setting of Queens’ College Chapel, Cambridge on Sunday 8th November 2009.
Under the direction of Miss Levy, the choir sang a range of challenging repertoire, including music by Holst, Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams and Bach, to a packed chapel. They also enjoyed singing and listening to a range of exciting works written for full, mixed-voice choir. Students received many favourable comments for their impressive performances.
Well done to all who were involved in this moving and memorable event.
