Lucy Jago's first novel, 'Montacute House'is hot off the press - it was published on Monday and on Tuesday she came to speak to Year 8 about it.
Some of the students had already had a preview of the opening chapter and all were fascinated by the account of how the novel took shape, featuring a girl, Cecily, who was born in the same year as Mary Ward and involved in adventure and mystery surrounding a plot against Queen Elizabeth.
