Over the past three weeks, Year 9 students preparing for their Bronze Arts Awards have been treated to a series of jewellery-making workshops given by jeweller Sally Scoffield of 'The Beaderie', Magdalene Street.
During the first session, students made bracelets and in subsequent weeks they made more complicated necklaces and earings.
Students relished the opportunity and the workshops are set to be an annual highlight of the scheme.
