Junior School Curriculum

St Mary's Junior School
Skilled teaching in small classes is at the heart of our approach to learning. Emphasis is placed on the core skills of reading, writing and the understanding of mathematical concepts. The National Curriculum is incorporated into the school's own programmes of study.

All classes are taught by primary specialists. This teaching is supplemented by specialist teaching in creative arts (including Dance and Music), Modern Foreign Languages, Information Communication Technology (ICT) and PE. Some of these specialist teachers are shared with St Mary's Senior School, making the eventual transition to the Senior School even more seamless.
