Chess Club
Children who arrive at school early in the morning engage in pre-selected activities organised by their teachers. During after-school hours children are offered a variety of clubs such as Drama, Art and Craft, Chess, ICT, Netball and “Fun and Games”. All clubs run from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. After-school care includes Homework Club or Late Stay to 5:00pm and Twilight Club to 6:00pm.

There are also events such as special assemblies, Form plays, concerts and field trips, sports day and the school's Summer Fete, to which parents are warmly invited.

Activities

A list of after school clubs is issued to parents at the start of each term. Clubs are available on a ‘first come, first served' basis and are usually available to specific age groups. Popular activities may rotate on a termly basis: for example, if Drama Club is available to Years 3 and 4 in the Autumn term, it is often run for Years 5 and 6 in the Spring term. Reception children are not admitted to activity clubs, but can attend Late Stay Club if needed.

Late Stay / Homework / Twilight Clubs

Late Stay for Reception to Year 2 runs from 3.30pm to 5pm

Homework Club for Year 3 to Year 6 runs from 3.50pm to 5pm

Twilight Club for Reception to Year 6 runs from 5pm to 6pm
