Charity Fund Raising

Charity Fund Raising

St Mary's has a fabulous tradition of giving generously to a variety of charities and causes. Whether it be local to Cambridge, a national campaign or an International issue, students, staff, parents, governors and anyone connected with the school are always ready to give time and money to a wide range of worthy causes.

The Charity Committee is a team of volunteer students that represent each year group, helping to make decisions on which charities to support and the division of the funds raised. This committee is led by two of our Sixth Formers; Toyosi O and Emily G who have a specific role in working on charity matters. The committee meets at least once each half- term for discussions or at extra times when the committee leaders feel it is necessary.

On this page you can see a photograph of our current charity committee and you can also see the charities and causes we were able to support in the last academic year. As this academic year progresses you will be able to look at this page and see regular updates on fundraising totals and the causes we are supporting now.

If anyone has a charity they think would be appropriate for the school to support or feels they could help with donations or in other ways then do please contact the Charities Coordinator Mr Paul Mallabone.
