Pastonians Christmas Reunion in Hong Kong
During the last week of December 2008 Mr Bird, one of our two new Deputy Heads, was visiting Hong Kong for a holiday with his wife when he wondered whether some former and present St Mary's pupils who live in Hong Kong might like to get together for a reunion. Utilising Miss Fleming's outreach and organisational skills, it soon became apparent that there was indeed a St Mary's community who wanted to participate in a holiday gathering.
On 29 December, six former pupils, five current pupils and six sets of parents gathered in the Sky Lounge of the Sheraton Hotel, looking out across the harbour. The venue was spectacular and St Mary's Hong Kong community enjoyed the opportunity to hear what was new at the school, network with each other and reconnect with old friends.
