Welcome to the 6^th Form area of St Mary’s School web site where I hope you will gain some insight into what the Sixth Form at St Mary’s can offer you. Our aim is to provide you with a first rate education, a wonderful programme of extra–curricular activities and a dedicated university preparation programme.

In the Sixth Form at St Mary’s we treat all students as individuals — we respect you as you are — whatever your personality, background, beliefs or nationality. We recognise that our students have a whole range of aims and expectations and we try to help you become whatever you want to be.

Our Sixth Form is different from anything you will have experienced so far in your school career: you will have your own well–equipped building; you will meet new people and make new friends; you will try out new activities and work in a new atmosphere; you will have new opportunities and face new challenges.

The Sixth Form at St Mary’s is academically successful but it is also a secure and happy place. Our students know how to work hard but they have fun too. Being in the heart of Cambridge and close to London will give you the best of both worlds: the security of a small world–famous city and the excitement of the capital a short train journey away.

Above all else, the Sixth Form at St Mary’s is a dynamic place. We are not content with the status quo. We have an extensive and ever–changing enrichment programme, we have introduced new subjects, new activities and new facilities and we will continue to do so. This is a Sixth Form that is going places.
