6th form boarders
Boarding in the sixth form can provide you with a positive transition between school and university. The boarding environment encourages you to become independent and enables you to manage your time efficiently, i.e. between study and leisure. Staff are always on hand to support you and to offer advice if needed.
As well as your academic progression, you are expected to play a full part within the community and you will be involved in decision-making with regard to the running of the boarding house.
The accommodation is in single study bedrooms where you may work during the day when you have free periods. In addition to the facilities in the sixth form centre, you also have access to the sixth form boarders’ common room and a fully-equipped kitchen. The library, gym, art studio, music practice rooms, tennis courts and ICT rooms are also available to you during the evening and at weekends.
